No Sodium Tripolyphoshate (STPP) Treatment
We offer a Dry Shrimp which means no STPP added. It is almost impossible to find shrimp on the
market today that does not contain STPP which is a chemical that causes the retention of added
water to protein products. This negatively impacts the natural flavor and texture if abused with
Wild Red Shrimp cooks very fast, usually half the cooking time of regular shrimp. DO NOT over
cook. Many Chefs claim that this shrimp is sweeter than lobster when cooked properly.
